I almost broke down at work. Why people always take things for granted? I helped you abit cause you are pregnant, but now you ask for more after giving birth. I have played my role as a secretary. Please stop complaining about me! Luckily my boss stand at my side and did not blame me. Thanks Eric for your kind understanding! If not because of my school and driving committement, I would have already handed in my resignation letter. Tomorrow having agency get together lunch, I don't know how to face that person who is unsatisfied with me.

Tomorrow is my first day of school, quite excited! I just bought some basic stationery and spent S$16 on it. That's abit expensive. Tomorrow, Baby is going to fetch me home after school as a morale support and encouragement for me.

I am in a helpless situation. I got 3 jobs offer from DBS, Standard Chartered and also CitiBank. And I have to turn down all the offers which makes me in this helpless situation. Hopefully sacrificing my career will do good for my relationship.

Whereas for my relationship, we are in the stage of problem solving, understanding each other and financial management.

This morning, just got this new idea of my financial budgeting. Action: Open a new POSB Saving Acount.

Got reprimanded by boss cause I've totally not aware of the API Double Credit Incentives.

Went SSDC alone.

10.30am Final Theroy Test - Passed!

I'm one step closer to my goal to achieving my license. Thanks Baby for rushing down after driving ur ah gong to chinatown and reaching SSDC 5 minutes before me going into the examintation room. I'm so touched to see you there! Thanks for your support. On the spot, I have registered for my Provisional Driving License and also enrolled with the school. It really cause me bomb for it.

After that we went to my ah ma house for lunch and baby join my cousins for soccer. Then went East Coast with ah gong for dinner. Had a walk along the beach.

Managing a crucial decision

I was given an offer as a Personal Financial Manager with DBS yesterday. I have to make a crucial decision between my studies and this challenging and exciting career. After much consideration, I decided to give up this great opportuntiy for my studies. I'm not confident enough to manage my time well with both as this new career requires a long working hours then my current job. As what Auntie Anne shared with me before, its not a wise decision to change a new working enviroment at this point in time. Therefore, I emailed a letter to Ivan (Tiong Bahru Branch Manager) and cc a copy to Yan Ning (DBS HR) to turn turn this offer.

Yesterday, I came across this website, NEW DAY FOSTER HOME. Its an orphanage in Beijing, China. These babies are so pityful and innocents. Most of them are suffering from malnutrition, heart dieasses, etc. Its such a heartach that their parent abandon them due to such reasons. I thought of sponsoring two babies from there and it really cost very little. I hope that they will soon find their loving family and lead a normal life.

Just reach office, walking towards my table, received a call from DBS HR Department.

I'M SELECTED FOR THE SECOND AROUND INTERVIEW!

So what, I am not really that happy about it. The monthly target is incredibly high that can touch the sky. Basic pay is only 2.5K + commission if only you can hit that target for that month. If i can really produce their required target, I will be super duper rich in Prudential. Crazy! Next I still have to make cold call to clients and long working hours. Lastly, they want me to give up my studies! Crazy again!

Haha...good news, Auntie Anne and Uncle David going Barcelona tonight. They will be taking Singapore Airlines to Barcelona via Milano. Auntie says will pack me into her suitcase and bring me along. Bad news, Baby got lotsa of OT this week and he will left no time to spend with me.

We need more quality time!

Lastly, both side parents had agreed to meet for dinner somewhere near Mother's Day.

Been busy these two weeks.

I can really feel transition tide(Career + Studies) is coming! BRING IT ON~

My schedule for April is so so so tight. I can't even go for any holidays. This friday, I got my Anti-Money Laundering Test. Next Saturday, Advance Theroy Test then the following week, Bridging Course commerce.

Next, I feel like changing job. Will be going for an interview on Friday to see what they can offer for me. Need to do some comparison while is it worth going for a career switch. Salary, future career prospect and working hours to consider. So sick of current job due to no career growth, no career propect only that pay is decent. Thanks Auntie Anne for your encouragement and support in this area of my life now!

I did all this for the goodness sake of my current relationship. At this moment in time, the main motivation for me is my graduation ceremony. Need to re-confirm and make some clarification of my graduation ceremoney that will be held in London for external students. I had emailed to University of London and now waiting for their positive respond.

Hopefully manage to do up my visual board to remind me of my goals set for 2008. Currently, I'm on track for achieving my goals for my degree and driving license. BUT I'm far back for my sales. I need to resset my sales goals again.

I'm off on tuesday. Went visiting my grandparents' grave in the morning and then run some errands for my school administration stuffs, went bank to buy a bank draft of 52 pounds with an exchange rate of 2.76.

After that went Audio House to look for a Home Theatre Sytem for baby's room.

So disappointed today!
